I came across the website www.incspring.com recently. It's new concept on logo design where designers can upload unused concepts or personal projects and sell them onto the public. Basically instead of creating your company and then paying a Designer to create your logo you instead choose the logo that suits your your business and build it around the logo, interesting no?
Anyway, I got paid $300 for 'Sportickets' a Sports Ticket sales type company not that bad for a stress free afternoon playing around with concepts! Any other designers out there should try it.

Decided I needed a few business cards put out there & see if I can drum up some more design work. Didn't want to spend loads a money on them so thought I'd experiment with doing it myself & to be honest I'd delighted with the results. I used my shitty €50 Brother printer & bought A2 sheets of 250 gsm paper. Had to chop it down to A4 sheets & then tediously print 1 side then flip & print the other, it went through pretty well. Then it was onto the ol' steel ruler & scalpel. So far I've made up about 50 cards & I've all the skin on my fingers still! The result is pretty good for something home made & the few that I've given out have received nice feedback, they all think they're professionally printed.

The local Irish Pub rang me about quickly doing up a Paddy's Day poster, short notice but I think it does the trick and they were delighted with the speed & quality. They got it printed at their local printers and it looks great up on the walls, they're also gonna introduce to the printers so might get some extra work out of it! Anyway, enjoy the Craic on your own St. Patricks Day!
